Known for his signature “sing-speak” style that he calls the new jazz vibe, Adamo blends poetry, history, and groove into a uniquely powerful listening experience.
With Gary Steinberg on tenor sax, Tim Campbell on Hammond B-3, and Barry Schiffman on conga programming, the track fuses deep Latin-funk percussion, soulful keys, and wailing saxophone into a fiery bed of rhythm. Over this foundation, Adamo channels his role as a modern jazz griot, paying homage to legends like Miles Davis while painting vivid musical pictures through his inventive spoken-word artistry.
